This site is something that I have been talking about doing for nearly 3 years, it has come about as a result of various discussions, moans and groans amongst many of us expatriates living here in Brunei who feel that there is no way to know how to get started when first arriving in Brunei. I hope to create a way for us all to pass on useful information to new arrivals, for example how do we get that IC card everyone talks about and also a way for us who have been here a while to remember how to get things done… for example, what do I have to do (and what documents are required!) to renew my amah quota etc!! I would also like for people to publicise events and activities that they may be running or involved in, here in Brunei.
So.. what now? Well you tell me! I haven’t much of an idea where to start, but think a good way is to hear what you would like to know about.. also any useful information you have that may be of interest to the expat society here. Any events you know of.. let me know.
In order to do this, the first step is to register with expatsbrunei.com. This will register you and in time allow you to create a post and submit it for inclusion.
